CTC tea actually refers to a method of processing black tea. This process usually refers to – curl, tear & cut in which black tea leaves are run through a series of cylindrical rollers.
Tea made via this method is called CTC Tea and in India also known as Mamri tea.
The CTC Teas have a consistent flavour profile and slightly bitter in taste having light liquor. This teas are generally used by end consumers at home.
